Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure using modern tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) practices.
  • Utilize deep expertise in Golang development to enhance platform functionalities and performance.
  • Implement and maintain Envoy for service mesh architecture and API gateway solutions.
  • Work closely with AWS services to architect and deploy scalable solutions in the cloud.
  • Develop automation solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to streamline deployments, monitoring, and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and optimize application performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) as a Golang developer, with a strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and microservices architecture.
  • Practical knowledge of Envoy for managing service mesh and proxying traffic.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with a focus on services like EC2, S3, IAM, etc.
  • Experience in Kubernetes administration, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience in building automation tools for deployment and monitoring.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
  • Familiarity with other cloud providers (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with Prometheus/Grafana for monitoring and observability.
  • Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm).
