Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent working experience on Solidworks and be able to prepare calculations on proposed machines before completing technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed designs and specifications for mechanical components and systems
  • Create CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing, testing, and assembly
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

  • 2+ years industrial experience in an engineering role or related experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Solidworks modeling, drawings, and machine design with experience in design, and analyses
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding
  • Strong computer and mathematical skills
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to change
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated attitude and ability to use initiative
