Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical analysis and documentation, including studying and interpreting customer specifications to develop accurate Technical Bills of Materials (BOM) and engineering drawings.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site studies and prepare project overview reports as needed.
  • Design and draft control systems and panels using AutoCAD and E-Plan.
  • Develop layout, wiring, and schematic diagrams for a variety of control panels, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
  • Ensure all designs and materials meet relevant international standards (IEC 61439, UL, CE, IECEx, ATEX).
  • Integrate hazardous area zone classifications into panel designs, adhering to safety regulations for explosive and flammable environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address unique challenges in hazardous environments.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through delivery, maintaining schedules and resource allocation.
  • Provide timely technical offers and proposals to customers, balancing accuracy with responsiveness.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure rigorous quality control throughout the engineering process.
Requirements:
  • Technical skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and E-Plan software, knowledge of international standards (IEC 61439, UL, CE, IECEx, ATEX).
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain schedules and resource allocation.
