We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in marine structure design, analysis, and construction.

  • Design & Construction of Marine Structures: The successful candidate will lead the planning and construction of marine infrastructure including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks for major port projects.
  • Coastal Engineering Expertise: In-depth coastal and marine engineering knowledge is required to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.
  • Structural & Geotechnical Analysis: Advanced structural and geotechnical assessments will be conducted, ensuring the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams will ensure successful execution of marine construction works.
  • Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: All construction processes must align with environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
  • A strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • Hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software (e.g., MIKE21, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro) for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
  • Ability to develop cost-effective and durable solutions for marine infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Marine Structures).
  • Experience in working on port development projects or coastal infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
