Automation Test Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our automation testing efforts. As an Automation Test Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies, plans, and data.

  • Test Development: Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed.
  • Test Execution: Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation.
  • Environment Setup: Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and report questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies. Additionally, you will document and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework.

About the Role
  • Tool Selection: Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the overall QA process.
  • Time Estimation: Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development.

The ideal candidate should have experience building automation frameworks for web-based software and mobile platforms. They should also have expertise in Defect Management, Bug life cycle, Performance management, and object-oriented programming languages.

Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills and/or data validation, ability to debug test failures, and trace to failing code.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, willingness to pitch ideas and test new approaches, and ability to articulate and drive sustainable processes.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, as well as the ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused.
