Job Title: Lead IT Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled network architect to oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of our network infrastructure.

The successful candidate will ensure continuous and secure data flow between OT and IT systems, implementing advanced wireless technologies like Wi-Fi 6 and private 5G to support robust connectivity and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy and maintain high-availability network infrastructure with low latency and redundancy.
  • Collaborate with production and IT teams to align network infrastructure with operational needs.
  • Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points for optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to identify potential bottlenecks and minimize downtime.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions and modernization initiatives that include security features and future-ready wireless infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure network scalability to support future production needs and business growth.
Required Skills:

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in designing and managing large-scale production network deployment, including routers, switches and wireless solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols, including VPN, intrusion detection and VLAN management.
  • Experience in implementing OT/IT network integration and proficient in managing both wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions in a time-sensitive production environment.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing production floor network infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network equipment and network monitoring tools.

Skillset: Strong communication and project management skills, with ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
