Cloud Network Infrastructure Leader Position

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Cloud Network Infrastructure Leader to spearhead our cloud engineering team. This is a complex and dynamic role that demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • We are looking for an expert who can design, architect, and maintain cutting-edge cloud network infrastructure, including physical and SDN network frameworks.
  • The successful candidate will ensure high levels of availability, flexibility, and network performance while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • They will be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive infrastructure documentation.
  • Responsibilities also include collaborating with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Leading a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics and trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing and delivering technical presentations and proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  • Managing technical validation activities, including Proof of Concept.

Requirements:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data center networks, L2/L3 technologies, and Cisco/Juniper routers and switches.
  • Strong fundamentals in WAN & Routing technologies, security technologies, switching, and QoS.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring protocols and tools, such as SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, and PRTG.
  • Good knowledge of SDN technologies, preferably hands-on experience with VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, or Cisco.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly resolve complex network issues.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Highly motivated individual who can learn quickly and stay current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience leading a team of at least 4 people in a similar role.
