Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Compliance Manager to provide strategic support across our business units. The ideal candidate will have 4-9 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure statutory compliance by obtaining and renewing licenses, approvals, and permissions for factories and new projects.
  • Liaise with external authorities to obtain subsidies and incentives from governments.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and notices.
  • Manage litigation matters, including civil, criminal, arbitration, and recovery cases.
  • Coordinate with external counsels, courts, and government departments for case resolution.
  • Support factory audits and inspections to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and repositories of contracts, licenses, and legal documents.
  • Provide assistance in brand protection and coordinate with business teams.
  • Travel to factories, project sites, and markets as required for legal and compliance work.
  • Handle local legal issues impacting factories, projects, or operations.

Requirements:

  • LLB / LLM degree (LLM preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, litigation, land laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional coordination.
  • Proficiency in legal MIS/documentation tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
