Key Role: Financial Strategist

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted financial advisor, working closely with senior management to develop comprehensive financial strategies for the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee General Ledger account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, treasury management, payroll accounting, and fixed assets accounting.
  • Develop and execute month-close activities, ensuring timely delivery of financial reports to the management group.
  • Conduct ratio analysis, logical reasoning, and test data in GL to guarantee accuracy.
  • Monitor GST, TDS, and other tax compliances.
  • Manage work allocation matrices to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere to information security and control procedures.
  • Lead first-level appraisals, provide career guidance, and identify training requirements for team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in GL area with excellent double-entry accounting knowledge.
  • Good exposure to finance and accounting concepts.
  • Strong command over English and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, commitment to data accuracy, and strong sense of ownership.
  • Effective team player with solution-oriented mindset, proven leadership abilities, and high degree of integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools, and experience in SAP or similar ERP.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools like HFM and Essbase.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
