Career Opportunity: Coastal Modeling Expert

We are seeking an accomplished professional with a strong background in coastal engineering and numerical modeling expertise to fill this role.

  • Essential qualifications include a University Degree in Coastal/Oceanography/Marine Structures, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in coastal engineering.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in hydrodynamic and wave modeling, including proficiency in Delft3D tools and TELEMAC, as well as strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with model interpretation, data analysis, and presentation is also required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Model Development: Design, implement, and optimize numerical models to predict and analyze coastal processes and behaviors.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret and analyze model results, identifying key trends, patterns, and insights that inform project decisions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate model outputs into project deliverables, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies in coastal modeling, applying knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in your work.
