Job Title: Compliance Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
  • We conduct pre-shipment trade and regulatory research for international shipments to ensure our business operations are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Our team collaborates with third-party vendors to identify potential risks and opportunities, ensuring that our supply chain is secure and efficient.
  • Audit and verify shipping documents and external partner documentation for compliance (FCPA, Anti-Bribery) to prevent any non-compliance issues.
  • We communicate with brokers and external parties to resolve any issues or concerns related to customs clearance.
  • Liaise with Legal and Tax teams for compliant import/export processes, ensuring that our business practices meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely clearance instructions to customs brokers to ensure smooth import/export operations.
  • Troubleshoot problem shipments to minimize delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure STO-related commercial documents are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Review and approve Commercial Invoices (CI), Packing Lists (PL), and Airway Bills (AWB) within 24 business hours to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter order forms into internal systems to facilitate accurate tracking and monitoring of shipments.
  • Support Tax and Customs audits with Legal Regional Team to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all shipments meet client export/import regulations with Trade Compliance and 3PL teams.
  • Complete due diligence on external parties per Legal standards to ensure their compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Denied Party Screenings to prevent any non-compliance issues.
  • Maintain brokerage performance reports to track and analyze shipment data.
  • Coordinate resolution or escalation of international customs-hold shipments to ensure timely resolution and minimize disruptions.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as International Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Three plus years of experience in the logistics industry, with exposure to trade compliance, regulations, inventory, or warehouse management.
  • Two plus years of domain experience in Hardware Operations.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, stock management, and forecasting to analyze and optimize business operations.
  • Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment to respond to new challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels to build effective relationships and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Knowledge of trade compliance rules and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
