Job Overview

Responsibilities:

- Ensure compensation and benefits programs are cost-effective, market-competitive, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with local laws.

- Support key annual cycles including compensation planning, insurance renewals, and monthly benefits enrollment.

- Lead or support regional initiatives and ensure local alignment with global total rewards strategy.

- Evaluate complex issues and propose solutions that consider varying practices and market dynamics.

- Plan and implement compensation or benefits changes, managing communication, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

- Develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and communications that explain compensation and benefits to employees and leaders in a clear and understandable way.

- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of C&B programs across HR, Finance, Legal, and leadership teams.

- Serve as a subject matter expert on India compensation and benefits legislation and compliance requirements.

- Lead or support regional benchmarking and participate in 12 compensation and benefits surveys per year.

- Utilize tools or similar compensation systems and platforms to analyze, model, and benchmark pay and benefits programs.

- May mentor junior team members or regional HR partners as needed.

- Support the wider Center of Excellence with global or cross-regional initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Master's degree required, preferably in HR, Business, or related discipline.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits in a multinational environment.

- Deep understanding of compensation and benefits regulations, programs, and best practices in India.

- Experience supporting other regions is a plus.

- Prior hands-on experience with tools (or similar platforms) and compensation surveys.

- Strong experience developing compensation/benefits documentation, FAQs, and program rollout plans.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and present insights to leadership.
