Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in a key role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, analysis, and interpretation.

  • The selected individual will be responsible for preparing and compiling disclosures included in SEC filings and Statutory filings for various entities;
  • They will work on various responsibilities associated with business segments and interact with multiple stakeholders;
  • They will ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of financial reporting disclosures included in Forms 10-Q and Form 10-K, other US GAAP financial statements as well as Statutory financial statements;
  • They will prepare analytical reports and utilize various analytical skills and procedures to assist with the understanding and validation of financial statements and disclosures;
  • They will coordinate, conduct, and document workpapers of financial reporting activities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and SOX controls;
  • They will ensure the timeliness and accurate delivery of financial information including analyzing and reporting of financial activities;
  • They will interact with internal and external auditors as needed;
  • They will drive process improvements and automation efforts and participate/lead problem-solving sessions and provide functional advice to less experienced analysts;
  • They will assist in various projects as assigned including the participation in the continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting including the implementation of new or expanding the usage of certain existing financial reporting tools and other improvement initiatives;
  • They will contribute as a key team member that meets ultimate objectives of the team, department, and organization;
  • They will participate and research SEC, GAAP, and Statutory guidance including performing peer research for various disclosures as necessary;
  • They will participate in special projects with cross-functional and corporate impacts, with particular focus on collaboration and effective communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;
  • CA/CPA/CMA is Mandatory;
  • 5+ years or more of experience, including public accounting, insurance accounting, or SEC reporting environment.
