Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our finance team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing accounts and finance for a logistics company. They must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong leadership abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for finalizing financial statements, preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and income tax returns. They will also manage all taxation compliance, track agreements/bank guarantees, and develop the commercial strategy and direction of projects.

Additionally, they will negotiate with customers, suppliers, and vendors, build and maintain relationships with customers, oversee the performance of the commercial team, monitor budgeting expenses, identify and manage commercial risks, manage company payable and receivable, and manage all branches of the company in terms of accounts and finance.

The role reports directly to the Director/Founder of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize financial statements, prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and income tax returns
  • Manage all taxation compliance, track agreements/bank guarantees, and develop commercial strategy
  • Negotiate with customers, suppliers, and vendors
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Oversee performance of commercial team
  • Monitor budgeting expenses and identify commercial risks
  • Manage company payable and receivable
  • Manage all branches of the company in terms of accounts and finance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy and finance
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing accounts and finance for a logistics company
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Able to handle a large team, high volumes of emails, and frequent calls and WhatsApp messages
