Lead the way in shaping user experiences that harmonize business needs and user insights. To achieve this, we are looking for a seasoned Experience Design Vice President to spearhead our design/research strategies for complex projects.

About the Role
  • This executive role will oversee the development and execution of strategic plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas.
  • Our ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring accurate implementation with developers, and creating design documentation for the development phase.
  • The successful applicant will also model inclusive design practices, mentor junior designers, and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization.
  • In addition, this role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development processes.
  • We require the ability to analyze market trends, gather feedback from user research, and learn from data insights to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design or similar roles is required.
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to create visual representations of user journeys, such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Proficiency in design tools and a strong understanding of front-end development processes and technologies are essential.
  • The selected candidate will possess experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines, incorporating diverse perspectives into design solutions.
  • We seek a transformational innovation strategist who can develop experiences that meet or exceed initial proposals.
  • Advanced technical literacy and an understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and their impact on user experience are necessary.

Mentorship and Team Leadership: Our successful candidate will mentor junior designers, foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, inspire high-quality UI through creative direction, hands-on collaboration, and a strong sense of craft. They will manage and grow designers, with strong team collaboration and communication skills. The chosen candidate will successfully launch and scale products, fostering a culture of inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring offerings are visually appealing, accessible, and user-friendly, enhancing the overall customer experience.
