Your Role:

As Co-Founder of Finance & Operations, you will lead the financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform. You'll ensure we have the resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, prepare pitch decks, manage financial modeling and investor relations.
  • Build robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook
  • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
  • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is highly desirable.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to roll up your sleeves in early execution.
  • A passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
