HR Growth and Strategy Specialist

This role plays a vital part in advancing strategic organization-wide initiatives while focusing on people strategy for the Growth & Strategy Office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and be able to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies for initiatives aligned with organizational goals, focusing on market expansion, service innovation, and competitive positioning.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and leverage findings to inform strategic decisions for projects like Sales Incentives, Sales Rewards, Sales Productivity, Sales Onboarding.
- Collaboration with Leaders: Collaborate with key leaders in the sales organization to design and launch new initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness to drive revenue growth and partner with Senior Leadership, EC, OC members, and Sales Leaders to ensure cohesive execution of initiatives.
- Talent Development: Provide key insights for the creation of development programs that equip sales colleagues with the skills necessary to succeed in a dynamic sales environment and also identify training needs.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to new initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in from all leaders and impacted colleagues.
Role of Strategic Business Partners for Growth Office Colleagues:
- Talent Management: Develop and execute people initiatives that promote talent acquisition, retention, and development within the growth office, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes including promotions, market corrections, Mid & Year-End Reviews. Collaborate with and guide managers to drive goal setting for team members & create Individual Development Plans (IDPs) tailored to the growth office colleagues.
- Training and Development: Identify training and development needs for growth office colleagues, creating and implementing programs that enhance skills and support career progression.
- Talent Development: Bring insight and decision-making skills to the table during performance and career-related discussions, aiming to drive managerial performance and facilitate effective talent management.
- People-Related Issues: Address and manage people-related issues effectively, providing guidance and support to managers and team members to resolve conflicts, enhance team dynamics, and promote a positive work environment.
Collaboration & Interactions:
- Regular Collaboration: Regular collaboration with Growth Office BHR Leader & Chief Growth & Strategy Officer to understand top-level organizational requirements, ensuring alignment of growth office initiatives and sales effectiveness initiatives with broader business needs.
- Leadership Buy-In: Partner with Senior Leadership, EC, OC members, and Sales Leaders to ensure cohesive execution of initiatives and leadership buy-in.
- Sales Performance Insights: Interact with sales colleagues in client-facing roles to develop a deeper understanding of sales performance and ground realities, using these insights to inform strategies for initiatives that drive performance.
- Industry Expertise: Interact with industry consultants and leaders to guide EXL strategy and thinking in ongoing projects.
- Interfunctional Collaboration: Partner with other HR Functions like Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Digital HR Ops, Capability Development, Employee Relations and also Payroll, Finance, Technology & Operations Teams
Key Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration – HR, preferably from a Premier B-School.
- Functional Skills:
- Strategic Planning: Proven experience in developing and executing strategic plans that align with organizational goals and drive performance improvements.
- Industry Best Practices: In-depth knowledge and practical experience of industry best practices in human resources and otherwise, ensuring effective implementation across the organization.
- Project Management: Familiarity with managing systems, projects, and budgets, along with a strong understanding of local and international best practices.
- Data Analytics: Proficient in leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making, measure performance, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Revenue Streams: Understanding of revenue streams and sales pipelines, enabling effective collaboration with sales leaders to drive performance. Familiarity with designing and managing incentive programs that motivate and align employees with organizational goals.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR and sales initiatives with organizational objectives and financial goals.
