About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Designer to lead our marketing efforts at Alt Carbon, a pioneering carbon removal company based in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will have a strong background in design and a deep understanding of climate change.

This is a unique opportunity to work on challenging and meaningful projects that contribute to addressing one of the world's most pressing issues. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for developing our brand identity, creating visually stunning designs for various mediums, building and leading a team of designers, and staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a clear voice, a distinct aesthetic view on design, and a passion for science and climate change. They will also possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Development: Develop and evolve the brand identity for Alt Carbon, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while pushing the envelope on creativity and innovation.
  • Visual Design & Prototyping: Create stunning designs for websites, tech products, marketing collateral, client decks, social media, and print, producing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Team Building: Work with the founders to build a tribe of creative designers who report to you in your team.
  • Design Leadership: Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring the highest quality standards and alignment with brand guidelines.
