Job Overview

Manage Asset Quality & Product Risk metrics to drive business success.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor Key Risk indicators and early warning triggers on Asset Quality, ensuring timely identification of areas for corrective action.
  • Review Portfolio performance at various cuts, recommending corrective Actions with the Credit & Collections team.
  • Flag-off areas of concern on a timely basis for corrective action, reviewing SBI Card Products' performance.
  • Evaluate New Product Introduction (NPI) proposals, ensuring effective implementation in compliance with Regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing products, analyzing Risk Metric performance and presenting findings to management.
  • Implement Digital Payment Products and Services Policy in line with Regulatory requirements.
  • Develop Credit Risk policy encompassing Policy parameters and broad guidelines aligned with overall Risk Appetite.
  • Prepare Quarterly Investor reports on Asset Quality, representing SBI Card Risk team in regulator Investor meets.
  • Provide regular updates on Asset Quality and Enterprise Risk to the Board and its Committees.
  • Create a Plan/MoU for Credit cost for SBI Card, incorporating Asset Quality parameters from Acquisition and Collections standpoints.
  • Work with Credit Bureaus to benchmark SBI Card portfolio against Industry benchmarks and identify segments of opportunity and risk.
  • Organize Portfolio Strategy Committee (PSC) reviews, providing an all-round view of portfolio performance by various cuts and segments.
  • Review and recommend Credit & Collections Policies, conducting gap assessments between board-approved policies and Regulatory requirements.
  • Establish segment-level acquisition benchmarks, monitoring monthly/weekly performance against these and flagging deviations.
  • Identify accounts for NPA & Write-off Pool sale-off to asset reconstruction companies.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Experience in managing Asset Quality and Product Risk metrics is essential.
