Senior QA Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior QA Lead to lead and manage a team of quality assurance engineers.

  • About the Role:
  • Our ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks, strong understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), build tools like Maven, test frameworks like TestNG, and experience in version control systems like Git.
  • A solid background in Functional, UI, API, and Database testing is a must, along with good exposure to Performance Testing concepts and tools.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing QA strategy across projects, leading, mentoring, and managing a team of QA engineers.
  • Key Responsibilities include developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), managing test planning, execution, and reporting across UI, API, DB, and Performance testing scopes, driving the adoption of test automation in CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • The ideal candidate will own and manage QA-related tools, infrastructure, and process improvements, ensuring traceability of test cases to requirements and maintaining test metrics/dashboards.
  • They will also review and approve test plans, test cases, and defect reports, perform risk analysis, and provide mitigation strategies for testing challenges, and advocate for quality across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation.
  • Hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of BDD (Cucumber).
  • Experience in build tools like Maven and test frameworks like TestNG.
  • Version control systems like Git.
  • Solid background in Functional, UI, API, and Database testing.
  • Good exposure to Performance Testing concepts and tools.
