Structural Geologist - Expert in Fault Framework Analysis

We are seeking an experienced Structural Geologist to fill a critical role as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural geology, with a focus on fault framework analysis and structural mapping. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regional and local structural fault framework analysis using seismic data
  • Developing a solid understanding of Geomechanics, including stress and strain analysis, rock mechanics, and fluid flow principles
  • Applying proven experience in fault framework analysis, generating structural cross-sections, and creating accurate structural maps

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geology or Earth Science, with specialization in structural geology or basin analysis
  • At least 12 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience working in the oil and gas sector
  • A strong understanding of geomechanics and structural geology principles
