Cloud Systems Architect Position

This is a remote Cloud Engineer role that requires working from home. The job entails implementing, managing and troubleshooting AWS Technologies, ECS, EKS.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in AWS Cloud or a related field. A Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification and knowledge of cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Detective are required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation, supporting out-of-hours work if necessary, on-boarding new cloud technologies, and engaging in cloud security activities.

Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer) or equivalent, and proficiency in operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux and AWS Linux are preferred.

In this role, you will work with various technologies including Containers Environment: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Cloud Technologies: Amazon Web Services, Automation/Scripting Languages: Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python, and Databases: MySQL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and managing cloud infrastructure while resolving IT infrastructure issues.
  • Implementing, managing and troubleshooting AWS Technologies, ECS, EKS.
  • Supporting out-of-hours work if necessary.
  • On-boarding new cloud technologies.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud or a related field.
