OpenText VIM Consultant

Candidate with an engineering background is sought to fill this role. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. They should also have knowledge in SAP environment, particularly in the modules OpenText Vendor Invoice Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing global support (1st – 2nd level) for existing business processes within the SAP S/4 HANA system. This includes:

  • Ticket handling, including user support
  • System monitoring
  • Standard change management, such as adding users as validation agents, maintaining teams, configuring tables, and setting approval limits
  • System optimization, including OCR training improvements (IC4SAP 23.4)

Additionally, they will act as the effective interface between IT functions and business users, communicating requirements, status, and issues. They will also support the business team for any inquiries, including systems support, improvement analyses, and consultancy on existing processes.

The candidate should have a study of Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration. At least 5 years of professional experience and several years of knowledge in SAP environment are required. Experience in working in an international organization in the support area is also essential. High analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train others are necessary. Customizing experience in the modules OpenText VIM, especially in the areas of system optimization and system monitoring, is preferred.

Experience and detailed knowledge of business processes for Finance in the automotive industries/manufacturing environment are a plus. Excellent spoken & written English skills are required.
