System Infrastructure Leader

Job Description

  • Leads the implementation of specialist systems administration expertise across Microsoft ecosystems, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), Domain Admin, SharePoint, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Security Controls, Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Microsoft 365 (M365), and endpoint operating system.
  • Manages hands-on operations for Network Management System - Open Source Systems (NMS-OSS) systems, including server management, cloud infrastructure, and Microsoft spend optimization.
  • Maintains and upgrades NMS-OSS, servers, and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Oversees major projects, including system updates, migrations, and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provides senior management with performance reports and actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Provides end-user support for escalated NMS-OSS issues from the corporate IT helpdesk.
  • Conducts regular patching, health checks, and security hardening of all NMS systems.
  • Develops and documents new processes to streamline IT operations and enhance efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong background in IT team leadership or IT management, with experience managing small teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Expert-level administration in Microsoft ecosystem, including AAD, Azure, M365, SharePoint, Intune, MDM, and Copilot.
  • Virtualization skills, including Microsoft, VMware, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Cybersecurity controls, including IAM, PAM, EDR, SIEM, and Cisco Security Suite.
  • Experience working in multi-country, multi-function environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as ServiceDesk Plus and ServiceNow.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach.
