Job Opportunity: Toys Category Lead

  • Develop and Execute Category Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth, optimize assortment, and enhance customer experience in the toys category.
  • Manage Brand Lifecycle: Partner with global brands to scale their presence in international markets, focusing on profitability, scalability, and margin management.
  • Curate Portfolio of Brands: Identify and onboard exclusive toy brands, leveraging expertise in product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier networks.
  • Drive Business Growth: Analyze market trends, optimize underperforming SKUs, iterate packaging, content, and supply chain to increase revenue and market share.
  • Establish Omnichannel Presence: Ensure seamless customer experiences across ecommerce and offline channels, aligning brand messaging and product offerings.
  • Deliver Business Outcomes: Measure and report on key performance indicators, including GMV contribution, margin management, and scalable business models.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and ecommerce, at least 2+ years in the toys category preferred.
  • Understanding: Toys' specific consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier network.
  • Expertise: Marketplace/retail selling: category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
  • Success: Scaling assortment and lifecycle SKU management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven record across brand, ops, tech, and analytics.
