About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced freelance e-commerce specialist with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Shopify solutions. This project-based role offers the chance to work on exciting e-commerce builds that require technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Development: Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Feature Creation: Build custom functionalities and features tailored to project requirements.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party applications and APIs with Shopify.
  • Store Optimization: Optimize store performance for speed, mobile, and SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Shopify-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with design/marketing teams to ensure seamless front-end experiences.
  • Code Quality: Ensure code quality, security, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in Shopify development (freelance or agency).
  • Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery Expertise: Strong command of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Shopify App Development: Experience in Shopify App Development (private/public apps).
  • Shopify API Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL).
  • Checkout Flows and App Integrations: Hands-on experience with custom checkout flows, B2B features, and app integrations.
  • Responsive Design and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver on deadlines.
