System Administrator: We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Database Security initiatives.

This role requires hands-on experience with Imperva Database Security and flexibility to work non-traditional hours. Collaboration with customers and internal teams is essential.

The engineer will be instrumental in implementing system changes during off-hours to reduce load on the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement Imperva Database Security solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, develop tailored solutions, and deploy them.
  • Perform system changes and updates to support teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firewalls, network connectivity, and server performance.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Update runbooks, documentation, and tooling to improve incident response and operational readiness.
  • Support post-incident reviews and ensure learnings are documented and actioned.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of alerting systems and operational workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Imperva Database Security is a must.
  • A strong background in Linux, System Administration, OS/Server Administration, and Firewall troubleshooting is required.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.) is essential.
  • Ability to work independently during non-traditional hours and occasionally sync with the team.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills are necessary.
