Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a senior-level position, this role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Amazon RDS and AWS migration tools, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and deep knowledge of IAM, roles, policies, and AWS security best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using best practices.
  • Support and Migration: Providing L3-level support for AWS environments including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, and more. Leading or supporting migration of workloads from on-premises environments to AWS.
  • Automation and Monitoring: Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK. Automating system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
  • Performance and Security: Monitoring system performance, availability, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, GuardDuty, Inspector, and AWS Security Hub.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with cloud teams to ensure compliance and enforce cloud security standards, troubleshooting and resolving critical infrastructure and application issues, participating in the design of disaster recovery (DR), high availability (HA), and backup solutions for both compute and database services, and maintaining documentation of systems, configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
