Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and maintain laboratory instruments and tools across various sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling test solutions and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and certified as required.

The Electronic Test team focuses on electronic test activities for avionics engineering programs. The selected individual will work with multiple teams to review and update electrical and mechanical needs for test setups according to product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage lab instruments and tools, including DMMs and Analyzers.
  • Prioritize cable fabrication (crimping & Soldering) according to industry standards.
  • Knowledge of AC and DC power systems used in labs.
  • Plan lab layouts for test benches and optimize lab space.
  • Coordinate electrical and mechanical requirements for labs and support test bench deployment.
  • Cable fabrication, soldering, lab equipment handling, ESD, and IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Electrical and mechanical integration knowledge.
  • Collaborate with users and product teams to understand test solution needs.
  • Benchmark design and technology trends.
  • Receive feedback and constructive criticism.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in lab management with hands-on calibration, testing, and maintenance experience.
  • Diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with team coordination for lab upgrades and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with cable harnesses and connectors.
  • Understanding of lab equipment functions and input requirements.
  • Lab electrical, mechanical, and cooling requirement understanding.
  • Ability to navigate complex business scenarios.
  • AC and DC power supply system understanding.
  • Prior test solution experience.
