Senior ETL Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled senior developer to join our organization in the position of Senior ETL Developer.

  • This is a key role for any organization that needs data engineering expertise, with responsibilities including collaborating with stakeholders, designing and developing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience working with Databricks, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.
  • Optimize Spark jobs and ensure efficient data processing and storage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and manage data processing jobs to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Stay current with the latest Databricks and big data technologies and trends.
  • Experience working in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS platforms) and familiar with the cloud tools and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in development and maintenance in a data engineering project.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scala.
  • Familiarity with SQL analytical functions.
