We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Specialist to fill a key role in our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing mechanical systems in our data centers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and analyze current mechanical systems and infrastructure in existing data centers
  • Develop strategies to enhance cooling efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve system reliability
  • Implement innovative solutions to boost performance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling, and ventilation
Innovative Design Principles:
  • Stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in mechanical engineering
  • Lead creation of new mechanical design standards and guidelines for future data center projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and practices
Project Management:
  • Oversee mechanical design projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet established goals
Technical Leadership:
  • Provide expert guidance and support to engineering teams on all aspects of mechanical design and optimization
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance skills of team members and stakeholders
  • Stay informed of industry trends, standards, and regulations to maintain competitive edge
Sustainability and Compliance:
  • Promote sustainable practices in design and operation of mechanical systems
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement

Mechanical Engineer with a minimum 15 years of experience in HVAC Design and Engineering required.

Proficient in Programmable Logic Controller, SCADA, and DDC Controllers development and implementation for redundant system architectures on HVAC applications.

Experience in Design Engineering of Data Centers, Pharmaceutical plants, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, and completed at least one full Data Centre project from concept to commissioning.

Strong organizational and communicative skills required.

Candidate should be able to travel to site locations across the world.

Candidate must be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects in a team or independent environment.
