Job Title: Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced accounting specialist to join our team. As an accounting specialist, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting entries, vendor invoices, and payments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily accounting entries including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
  • Manage vendor invoices, payment tracking, and reconciliations with accuracy.
  • Assist in TDS payment, Softex filing, and GST compliance.
  • Maintain books of accounts in Zoho Books (India) and QuickBooks (US entity).
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, including foreign client payments.
  • Support month-end closing activities and prepare audit-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR team and process payroll using payroll software.
  • Ensure records are updated for statutory filings, external audits, and other compliance needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or commerce.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory).
  • Exposure to QuickBooks and automated vendor payment tools.
  • Ability to work independently on day-to-day accounting and support senior accountants in compliance activities.
