Senior DevOps Specialist

A top-tier Senior DevOps Specialist at a leading organization plays a pivotal role in streamlining the development and deployment of high-priority projects. This involves collaborating with internal product groups and development teams to design and implement cutting-edge technical processes for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional CI/CD skills, be forward-thinking, self-motivated, and able to effectively work within diverse teams striving for excellence.

  • This position requires seamless collaboration with Development, Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to provide the right level of agility within a defined delivery process.
  • The successful candidate will join in supporting all CI/CD tools operational needs such as enhancements, vulnerability management, patching, upgrades, complete lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and/or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience delivering and supporting enterprise customer-facing solutions.
  • Designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD Tools/systems.
  • Leading the designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD Tools/systems.
  • Automation/integration effort for end-user onboarding for enterprise systems (CI/CD Tools).
  • Interacting with customers to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, and manage solution requirements.
  • Experience with .Net, Python, and/or Java development/framework, public/private cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and Automation/Continuous Integration (Terraform, SonarQube, Jenkins, BitBucket, Harness, etc.).
  • SDLC including associated deployment methodologies, Onboarding, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts and Source Code Management with GitLab.
  • Implementing and supporting a large Nexus Repository Management environment.

Desirable Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industries.
  • Previous Development/System Engineering experience in heterogeneous environments.
  • Working knowledge of automation and configuration management tools like Salt, Ansible, etc.
  • Effectively managing multiple technology projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
