Job Overview

The role of the unit finance head involves overseeing the financial operations of a department, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and monitoring strategic initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the finance function, establishing internal controls to ensure effective use and movement of funds.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting, adhering to set protocols and requirements.
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders, detailing performance against targets and significant matters requiring attention.
  • Monitor management reporting, including profitability, revenues, and pricing models based on billing structures.
  • Incorporate budget and forecasting models, manage cash flow, and monitor working capital performance.
  • Manage risk proactively, prioritizing and minimizing risks, and regularly reviewing them with stakeholders as necessary.
  • Respond to internal and external audit queries, collaborating with compliance teams.
  • Adept tax policies, including corporate, VAT, and tax planning.
  • Negotiate with key vendors and contribute to commercial areas.
  • Lead and motivate the finance team to meet performance objectives.
  • Ensure effective interface, integration, and collaboration between finance and related business areas.
  • Represent the organization externally, maintaining a positive reputation and capability.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CA/CMA with 12+ years of experience
  • Hospital/healthcare domain expertise
  • Proficient in English and Hindi
  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative
  • Emotional intelligence and empathy
