Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping and accounting entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

  • You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards and US GAAP.
  • You will ensure compliance with internal policies, Indian statutory requirements, including TDS, GST, PF, PT, and other applicable laws.
  • You will support global operations by handling cross-border payments, FEMA compliance, and banking liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Bookkeeping and Accounting Entries: You will manage daily bookkeeping and accounting entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards and US GAAP.
  • Compliance Management: You will ensure compliance with internal policies, Indian statutory requirements, including TDS, GST, PF, PT, and other applicable laws.
  • Global Operations Support: You will support global operations by handling cross-border payments, FEMA compliance, and banking liaison.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful as an Accountant, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Professional qualification CA Inter: Professional qualification CA Inter is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance is required.
  • Indian accounting standards knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and familiarity with TDS, GST, PF, PT, and other Indian statutory requirements are essential.
  • Zoho books and MS Office Suite proficiency: Proficiency in Zoho books and MS Office Suite is required.
