About the Role

  • Work as a senior pastry chef in a busy hotel kitchen, performing all tasks related to pastry production and presentation.
  • Assist the director of culinary with menu planning and food promotions.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation throughout the hotel.
  • Ensure that all team members follow standard recipes and preparation methods.
  • Inspect goods and ingredients to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Liaise with the banquet department and outlet manager on guest feedback and respond accordingly.
  • Monitor food supplies to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Purchase food products with the purchasing manager to achieve the best price-quality ratio.
  • Be responsible for the overall quality of food prepared under your supervision.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement high-quality food and beverage products in all areas and restaurants.
  • Maintain HACCP aspects within the hotel operation.
  • Train staff on equipment usage, tools, and machines.
  • Participate in quality initiatives such as daily chef briefings and monthly team meetings.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
