Service Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk professional fluent in French to join our IT support team. This role involves providing first-line technical assistance to users, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests.

  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Deliver support in both French and English to French-speaking users with ease.
  • Log and manage service requests, incidents, and problems in the service management tool with precision.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals with expertise.
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets, permissions, and access issues with clarity.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, applications, and tools to provide informed solutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-tier support teams when necessary with confidence.
  • Ensure all requests and incidents are tracked and resolved within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide remote support through various communication methods, including remote desktop tools, with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other IT support teams and departments to enhance the overall user experience with effectiveness.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base for users to access self-help resources with accessibility.
  • Participate in IT projects and improvements as required, including software rollouts and system upgrades with adaptability.
  • Communicate clearly and transparently with users regarding the status of their requests and issues with empathy.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of IT service delivery by suggesting enhancements to processes and workflows with creativity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluent in French (written and spoken) with exceptional ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) is essential.
  • A minimum of [X] years of experience in a Service Desk or IT support role with a strong track record of success.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications with expertise.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar platforms, is beneficial.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding support.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with agility.
  • Experience with remote support tools, such as TeamViewer, Remote Desktop, is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware troubleshooting with a willingness to learn.
