Structured Finance Portfolio Manager

The role involves collaborating closely with clients to comprehend their investment deal requirements in structured finance. The individual plays a vital part in onboarding, monitoring, and risk management for institutional clients.

  • Onboard client portfolios by reviewing legal agreements, interpreting servicer or trustee reports
  • Support clients in risk and exposure monitoring of transactions
  • Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests, and Borrowing Base calculations
  • Assist/lead daily operations of workstreams and ensure accurate, timely deliverables
  • Liaise with the Business Analyst and Implementation team to ensure data accuracy on proprietary platforms
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance overall learning curve
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and share critical performance aspects proactively
  • Assist in standardising and streamlining processes to increase efficiency and establishing SOPs around deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial modelling using MS Excel
  • Understanding of various financial databases
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Broad understanding of Structured Finance products/corporate credit landscape/ABL/CLO/Middle Market Portfolio Financing
  • In-depth understanding of core financial and accounting concepts
