About the Role

As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you will be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with top-rated investment research organizations and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, supporting their product and sector teams on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.

The selected candidate will join the Private Credit team that supports portfolio managers of a private equity firm in the portfolio monitoring process. The team provides financial spreading, key credit metrics calculation, covenant analysis, and reviews for the credit review process.

  • Financial Spreading and Analysis: Involve in financial spreading (PL, BS, and CF) on an Excel-based model or a lending platform, along with key credit metrics calculation.
  • Credit Review Process: Identify key performance indicators and create reports for the credit review process.
  • Covenant Analysis: Calculate covenant in line with facility agreements and provide a detailed rationale for covenant Met / Breach results.
  • Quarterly Reviews: Perform quarterly reviews and populate associated templates.
  • SWOT Analysis: Conduct SWOT analysis for business overview.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis (historical and forecast, as well as operating, leverage, and liquidity ratios).
  • Covenant Performance: Verify / calculate compliance against a threshold (DSC, FCCR, LTV, Interest cover, leverage, etc.).
  • Collateral Analysis: Conduct collateral analysis.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide ad hoc support to portfolio managers.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train new joiners and act as an SME for other team members.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance and development of junior team members.
  • Client Communication: Handle client calls and periodic communication.
  • Project Management Support: Provide project management support to the senior manager.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in finance, economics, or accounting from a reputed institute with 2+ years of experience in a similar profile. Strong accounting and financial skills are essential, along with an eye for detail and ability to identify and solve issues effectively on time. Good MS Office skills and excellent interpersonal skills are also required. Ability to ensure tasks are completed on time and practice attentive and active listening skills is necessary. Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working is also expected.
