Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to orchestrate and execute SEO strategies that drive client performance beyond targets.

This position demands an individual with in-depth expertise in SEO, particularly in account management or client-facing roles within a digital marketing agency.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing SEO initiatives, collaborating with vendors, analyzing performance reports, coaching junior staff, and building strong relationships across the client services team and with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement SEO strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Liaise with third-party representatives to foster relationships and knowledge sharing.
  • Interpret performance metrics to provide actionable insights and analysis.
  • Develop and mentor junior staff in their projects and daily activities.
  • Foster collaborative relationships between client services teams and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, one must possess:

  • A proven track record in SEO, preferably in account management or client-facing roles.
  • A thorough understanding of SEO best practices across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
  • Proficiency in leading SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • Familiarity with various content management systems and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts confidently and build rapport with clients.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as Google Analytics or SEO tool expertise are also beneficial.
