Loan Servicing Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our loan servicing business, contributing to its growth and success. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new department from the ground up.

This role involves various responsibilities including asset administration, liaising with third-party entities, processing agent notices and corporate actions, and preparing reports for internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Asset setup, maintenance, and reconciliation
  • Collaboration with external brokers, custodians, and agents
  • Processing and reconciling data in various systems
  • Researching discrepancies and addressing aged breaks
Cash Position Reconciliation:
  • Preparing daily reconciliations of cash transactions and client positions
  • Ensuring timely reporting and escalation of issues
  • Supporting business enhancements and development initiatives
  • Raising areas for operational efficiency improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance (or relevant qualification)
  • 5-8 years' experience in Loan Services
  • Extensive knowledge of Credit Funds, Reconciliation, and various security types
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle, Aladdin, and settlement processes
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
