Building Information Modeling Specialist

As a highly skilled BIM Professional, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating building information models to ensure seamless integration across various project stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review 3D models from consultants and contractors to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage to identify potential issues
  • Manage views to issue clashes and automate grouped clashes
  • Configure BIM Track settings for Navisworks to streamline workflows
  • Display interactive clash points in Navisworks models with sectioning filters
  • Synchronize clash status and manage clashing viewpoints in Navisworks
  • Publish models to viewers from Navisworks and convert clashes to issues with multiple properties
  • Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Perform early design reviews and constructability analysis to inform project decisions
  • Update and manage BIM project documents to maintain accurate records
  • Extract and verify 3D model quantities to support cost estimation and scheduling
  • Use 4D scheduling and simulation tools in Autodesk Navisworks to enhance project visualization
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members to facilitate communication and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in creating BIM Track issues and Navisworks viewpoints
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM360, and BIM Track
  • Knowledge of integrated features in BIM Track for Navisworks
  • Understanding of basic construction processes and procedures
  • Advanced PC skills and Microsoft Windows applications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience
  • Interest in working with construction technology and BIM knowledge
