Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will conduct research on grant opportunities and draft proposals to secure funding for various projects. They must have a strong understanding of the organization's vision and objectives, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential grant sources, including institutional grants, CSR funding, government bodies, and individual donors.
  • Draft high-quality grant proposals that meet the requirements of the organization and the funding agencies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, such as program managers and fundraising teams, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing grant proposals and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports related to grant opportunities and proposals.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience in proposal writing and grant management.
  • At least 2-3 years prior experience as a proposal writer with a grant-seeking organization and a proven track record of submitting successful proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of biodiversity and conservation communication, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time-zones.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PPT, and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
