About this role

We are looking for a senior professional to take charge of our technical services. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams and developing business opportunities through product innovation.

Job responsibilities

  • Identify new business development opportunities through product development and application of hydrocolloids.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other relevant business channels to enhance customer experience.
  • Coordinate internal interfaces between customers, sales support, and the sales and marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry to promote innovative solutions.
  • Ensure all technical and product development activities comply with company principles.
  • Conduct market intelligence, market mapping, and watch market development.

Responsibilities (Job Description)

  • Conduct trials with Nouryon products for ice cream and frozen dessert customers.
  • Handle customer NPD projects from development to plant trials and commercial launch.
  • Have understanding of various hydrocolloid blend formulations and stabilizers for fruit juices, dairy, non-dairy products, plant-based products, bakery, and culinary applications.
  • Set up an application lab for the food and beverage industry.
  • Work according to global and regional business strategies.
  • Develop new functional solution blends for market share gain in the food and beverage industry.
  • Liaise with sales support/customer support/technical service and address customer needs through visits and trials.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in food technology and dairy technology.
  • Minimum 7 years of technical experience in the food ingredient and additive industry.
