Product Governance Specialist

This is a highly influential role that calls for strategic thinking and strong analytical skills to drive organisational excellence through effective product governance.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles, including stages, deliverables, and governance checkpoints. They must be able to document and implement policies and processes that drive efficiency, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Main Objectives: Develop and maintain organisation-level policies and processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks associated with governance processes.
  • Process Development and Optimisation: Document and implement policies and processes that drive operational efficiency and organisational growth.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align governance practices with business objectives and product lifecycle requirements.

Requirements:

  • Product Lifecycle Governance: Strong understanding of PDLC governance principles and best practices.
  • PDLCKnowledge: Familiarity with the basics of the Product Development Lifecycle, including stages, deliverables, and governance checkpoints.
  • Process Development and Optimisation: Proven ability to document and implement policies and processes that drive organisational efficiency.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to produce meaningful metrics and reports.
  • Audit Support: Experience assisting with internal audits and addressing findings.
