AI Governance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for configuring and managing AI data privacy controls, delivering compliance reporting, and implementing robust guardrails to ensure the security and reliability of AI applications.

  • Configure data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data training and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Deliver audit logs, compliance reporting, and monitoring for AI usage.
  • Implement safety layers and moderation tools to enhance AI application security.
  • Track model performance and usage metrics, producing reports for leadership.
  • Troubleshoot API calls, latency, and integration failures for seamless AI tool operation.
  • Maintain an internal admin guide with setup steps, governance rules, and best practices.
  • Develop knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users.
  • Deliver training sessions for IT staff to expand their expertise in AI tool management.
  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for AI-related incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
