Process Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Process Simulation Engineer to develop and validate process simulations using tools such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, and Aspen EDR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop process models, integrate with OTS software, and simulate normal operations including start-up and shutdown.
  • Perform detailed heat and mass balance calculations and hydraulic analysis across various process systems.
  • Execute equipment sizing for unit operations such as distillation columns and heat exchangers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Implementation experience in simulation software like Petro-Sim, MIMIC, and UniSim Design.
  • Design-to-commissioning experience on simulation projects involving process modeling, DCS integration, and scenario training.
  • Evaluate engineering documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, and Equipment Data Sheets to develop complex process simulations.
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems in chemical, petro-chemical, oil, and gas domains.
  • Generating documentation such as FDS, DDS, MAT, and FAT procedures.
Preferred Skills
  • Closed-loop control concepts, MVC tuning, APC, and MES.
