Senior Technical Advisor Role

As a seasoned technical expert, you will be responsible for delivering pre-sales technical support to clients across India, with a primary base in Mumbai. This pivotal role requires collaboration with the sales team to design customer-centric solutions and deliver impactful demos and proofs of concept.

You'll guide organizations on best practices in application security, conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops for AppScan and AppScan on Cloud. Your expertise will be crucial in driving customer success, enabling product adoption, and contributing to overall revenue growth through technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop customer-centric solutions
  • Deliver impactful demos and proofs of concept for AppScan and AppScan on Cloud
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops
  • Guide organizations on best practices in application security
Qualifications & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you'll need the following qualifications and experience:

  • ~5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in AppSec or enterprise software
  • ~Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash)
  • Experience with AppScan or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices
