Job Overview:

We seek skilled Conventional Lathe Operators for our precision manufacturing team.

This role involves operating conventional lathes to manufacture high-quality complex parts.

The ideal candidate has experience in manual machining and a strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances.

Our company specialises in highly complex components for various sectors, including semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, medical, and research.

Operations include cleanroom production, and we are involved in the microchip manufacturing supply chain.

We combine precision, innovation, and a hands-on team culture to push the boundaries of what is technically possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate conventional lathes to produce precision components
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and follow specified tolerances
  • Measure, inspect, and ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts
  • Make necessary machine adjustments and minor corrections during the machining process
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and maintenance of machines and work area
  • Contribute to continuous quality and process improvements

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven B1/B2 Level German Proficiency
  • Completed vocational training in metalworking (e.g., turning technician, precision mechanic, or similar)
  • Sound experience in operating conventional turning machines
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings with precision
  • Familiarity with quality control methods and measuring tools
  • Basic knowledge of German is an advantage; willingness to undergo German language training is essential
  • Independent, precise, and reliable work ethic
