Financial Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team.

  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for payments, refunds, and reconciliations.
  • Supplier Reconciliation: Update supplier reconciliation portal.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals.
  • AP Reports: Generate weekly AP reports, process vendor payments, and allocate in books.
  • Reconciliations: Review vendor reconciliations performed by AA.
  • Tax Compliance: Chase W9 from vendors and prepare 1099 workings.
  • Tax Return: Reconcile tax returns.
  • Sales Entries: Review sales entries on a weekly basis.
  • Sales Tax: Review sales tax and prompt tax working file, and prepare use tax calculation.
  • Tax Returns: Prepare CRT / TPT / 8027 and other county tax returns.
  • Balance Sheet: Prepare balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Email Response: Respond to emails within 48 hours.
  • Report Delivery: Deliver AP reports to clients in a timely manner.
  • Closing Deadlines: Meet internal month-end closing deadlines (financials).
  • Training: Train new team members and help them settle.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure internal processes and systems are adhered to.
  • Learning: Be open to learning new processes and work on new roles as assigned.
  • Development: Attend all internal training/development sessions for personal/business growth.
  • Mentoring: Mentor and train associates in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications and Skills

A Bachelor of Commerce degree is required.
